I often mess around in the kitchen when I'm bored, and occasionaly come up with something pretty good. A while ago I came up with some soup that I thought was so good I recorded the recipe. Here it is. Enjoy.
INGREDIENTSFeel free to vary the ingredients, quantities and whatever the hell else you want. I accept no responsability for the consequences of this soup. If you poison yourself, or have a heart attack, or burn down your kitchen as a result of making this recipe, then it's your problem.
0.1 Kg mushrooms
1.5 Onions
1.5 rashers of bacon
1 litre Chicken stock
Margerine (or butter)
2 bay leaves
Granulated garlic (fresh garlic would probably be even better)
Canola oil (or some other vegetable oil)
SaltINSTRUCTIONS
Chop the onions, bacon and mushrooms finely. Stick the mushrooms in a saucepan and sprinkle them with a good amount of salt. Leave them for half an hour. Add the onions and bacon to the mushrooms along with a few tablespoons of margerine and a dash of canola oil. Cook over low heat for 15 minutes or so. Add the chicken stock, bay leaves, and a dash of garlic. Heat the soup to boiling then let it simmer for five minutes. Remove the bay leaves, then serve and eat.
